Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information we collect on insuranceonequotes.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain language, because that is how we write everything.
The short version: if you fill out our form, we collect the answers you give us — including your name and phone number — and use them to have a licensed insurance agent contact you about coverage. We may also share or sell that information to other licensed insurance professionals so they can contact you, as described in the consent language shown on the form. You can opt out of that at any time — see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Our advertising tags also tell Meta, and possibly Google, that a visit or a form submission happened, so we can measure our ads. You can switch that off (see section 7).
1. Who we are
Axiom Strategies LLC ("InsuranceONE," "we," "us") operates insuranceonequotes.com, an insurance education website that connects people with licensed insurance agents. We are not an insurance company, we are not a government agency, and we are not connected with or endorsed by Medicare. Licensing details are on our Legal Disclosures page.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact information — first and last name, phone number, and email address (email is optional).
- Information about your situation — the answers you choose in our questionnaire, which may include your ZIP code, date of birth, household details, current coverage type and carrier, tobacco use, approximate income range, and coverage preferences. Some of this may be considered sensitive information, and we treat it that way.
Information collected automatically
- Location derived from ZIP code — your state and county, which determine what plans exist in your area.
- Technical and consent records — IP address, device and browser type, the pages you visited, the time you spent on the form, and the exact consent text displayed to you. We use a consent-verification service (such as ActiveProspect's TrustedForm) that creates an independent certificate documenting your consent. This exists to prove your consent was real — it protects both of us.
- How the site is used — which pages are opened, how long each stays on screen, the width of the screen, and which website you arrived from. We keep only the name of that website, never the full address, because the full address can include what you searched for. In the quoting tools we also count which plans are opened and whether Compare, Enroll or Call is pressed. The doctors and medicines you add are never sent to us.
- Approximate location — the country, state and city your internet connection appears to come from. Our hosting provider works this out and passes us only those three things; we do not store your IP address in our visit records. It is approximate: it can be a town or two away from where you are.
- A random number for your browser — so that two visits from the same browser are counted as one person rather than two. It is made in your browser, it is not linked to your name, and it does not follow you to other websites. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we do not keep this number at all, and each of your visits is counted separately. This number is separate from the advertising tags described in section 7.
- Advertising measurement — when our advertising tags are active (see section 7), Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and, if we add it, Google receive information about your visit: the address and title of the page you viewed, including any campaign tags in it (which can show the kind of insurance you were looking at, such as Medicare), the website you came from, the fact that you submitted our form, and the technical details their tags collect on their own, such as browser and device information, IP address and cookie identifiers. We do not send them what you typed into the form or the quoting tools — not your name, phone number, date of birth, doctors, medicines, or any other answer.
We do not collect information from data brokers to build a profile of you, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. This site is not directed to minors.
3. How we use your information
- To connect you with a licensed insurance agent who can explain the options available where you live — this is the core purpose of the site;
- To contact you by phone, text message, email, or prerecorded/artificial-voice message, if and only as you consented on the form;
- To match you with coverage types relevant to the answers you gave;
- To maintain records of your consent;
- To operate, secure, and improve the website;
- To measure and improve our advertising;
- To comply with law, and to establish or defend legal claims.
Consent to be contacted is not a condition of purchase, and you can revoke it at any time by telling the caller, replying STOP to a text, or contacting us using the details below.
4. Who we share it with — including sale of information
We are a lead-generation business, and we want to be direct about what that means:
- Licensed insurance agents and agencies. Your information may be worked by our own licensed agent, or provided — including sold or shared for compensation — to other licensed insurance professionals or partner organizations so they can contact you about the coverage you asked about. Under California law, this can constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You have the right to opt out — see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
- Service providers who help us run the site — hosting, data storage, consent verification, analytics, and communications tools. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Advertising platforms — Meta and, if we add it, Google receive the visit information described in section 2 through our advertising tags, so we can measure our ads and show them to people likely to find them useful. They may also use it to improve their own advertising systems. Under California law this can count as a "sale" or "sharing" (cross-context behavioral advertising). You can opt out — see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
- Legal and safety — if required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfers — if the business is sold or reorganized, your information may transfer with it under this policy's protections.
Apart from the advertising tags described in section 7, we do not share your information with unrelated third parties for their own advertising.
5. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you the right to:
- Know — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, where we got it, why we collected it, and who we shared it with;
- Delete — request that we delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep to document consent);
- Correct — request that we fix inaccurate information;
- Opt out of sale or sharing — direct us not to sell or share your personal information (start here);
- Limit sensitive personal information — request that we use sensitive information only as needed to provide the service you asked for;
- Non-discrimination — we will never treat you worse for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email us or use the form below. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days (extendable once by 45 days with notice). We will verify your identity by matching details you provide against our records — we will not ask for more than we need. You may use an authorized agent; we will ask for proof of their authority.
6. Other states
Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, and Montana) may have similar rights of access, deletion, correction, and opt-out of the sale of personal data or targeted advertising. We extend the request process above to all U.S. residents regardless of state — if you ask, we will treat your request seriously wherever you live. For all U.S. visitors, we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out of targeted advertising as well as of sale or sharing.
7. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies needed for the site to function, for consent verification, and for basic analytics. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honor it to the extent it applies to our processing.
Advertising tags
We use the Meta Pixel, and may add Google's advertising tag, to measure our ads and find people likely to be interested in them. These tags may set cookies or read identifiers in your browser. They report that a visit or a form submission happened, not what you typed into the form. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, or you use the opt-out on our Do Not Sell or Share page, we do not load these advertising tags in that browser. Blocking applies to this browser; advertising platforms may still hold information they collected earlier. You can also limit ad personalization in your Facebook and Google account settings.
What this site remembers on your device
The quoting tools save a few things in your own browser so you do not have to start over: the county you chose, the doctors and medicines you added, and how you like the results sorted. This stays on your device. It is not sent to us, and we cannot see it.
Your browser also holds the random number described in section 2, which is how two visits are counted as one person. The button below deletes that as well.
8. How long we keep information
We keep lead and consent records for as long as needed for the purposes above and as required to document consent and defend legal claims — consent records in particular must be retained because they are the proof your consent existed. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. Advertising platforms keep what their tags collect under their own policies; we cannot delete it from them.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including access controls and reputable infrastructure providers. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we take it seriously, and we limit who can see your information.
10. A note about health information
We are not a healthcare provider or health plan, and information you submit through this site is not protected health information under HIPAA. Nothing on this site is medical advice. We do not send health information, including your answers about doctors or medicines, to advertising platforms.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change meaningfully affects how your information is used, we will make that clear rather than bury it.
